Dr. Meng attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore MD where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and graduated with honors in 1996 with a BA in psychology. She completed her medical studies at the University of Maryland where in her junior year she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and in 2000 was awarded her MD, summa cum laude. From June 2000 to June 2004, Dr. Meng was a resident at the University of Chicago Hospitals in the departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. While a resident, she was a volunteer attending and physician advisor at The Maria Shelter, a transitional shelter clinic for women and children run by the University of Chicago medical students. Prior to moving to Michigan, she worked on the south side of Chicago at a clinic for the underserved with a predominantly hispanic immigrant population.
Dr. Meng is double board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She believes in working together as a team with patients and their families in order to achieve and maintain health and well-being. She lives in Ann Arbor and enjoys doing paper crafts, and spending time with her family.
