Thomas Dell, MD

A Michigan native, born and raised in Royal Oak, Dr. Dell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI in 1954.  His MD was awarded in 1958, at Case Western Reserve, Cleveland, OH.  Dr. Dell served in the US Army for 10 years doing his internship and Internal Medicine residency at Brooke General Hospital, San Antonio, TX.  From 1965 through 1966 he served at the US Army Hospital, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, were he was Chief of Medicine,  In 1966 Dr. Dell returned to Michigan to be Chief of Gastroenterology at Allen Park VA Hospital.  In 1967 he joined the staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI and began his private practice in Internal Medicine.  In 1972, Dr. Dell received a law degree from the University of Michigan law school.  He is licensed to practice law but limits his law practice to legal medicine.  Dr. Dell and his wife, Bonnie, have raised 6 children.  All are married now, rewarding them with 16 grandchildren, and providing a busy schedule of family visits.  His interest in digital photography is most rewarding on his frequent visits to New Zealand to visit a daughter and her family.  They currently live in Plymouth and enjoy attending Northridge Church there.
