Tendai Thomas, MD

Dr. Thomas recveived her undergraduate degree in 1996, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, where she majored in Psychology. She attended Wayne State School of Medicine, Detroit, MI where she was awarded her MD in 2000, with Clinical Honors in Family Practice, Neurology, and Psychiatry.  In 2001 she started an internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital where she supervised and mentored medical students in various stages of their training and was honored as Internal Medicine Resident of the Year, 2002-2003.  Dr. Thomas is dedicated to academic learning and in additional to her clinical practice, she is an In Patient attending physician at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, where she continues to teach and mentor residents. Dr. Thomas was born and raised in Michigan and now, along with her husband, is raising their two children here.  Her hobbies include running, playing the violin and piano, church activities, reading, and spending time with her family.
