Michael Sanson, MD

Dr. Sanson attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate where he received a BS in Biomedical Engineering and was elected to the Dean's List.  In 1993, he received his MD degree from Michigan State University.  His residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI  from 1993 to 1996 culminated with his being selected Chief Medical Resident from 1996 to 1997.  In July 2003, Dr. Sanson and his wife, Dr. Tefend, started Washtenaw Internal Medicine Associates where he serves as President. In addition to practicing full time patient care he serves on many professional committees concerning Quality Assurance and Patient Care.   He enjoys being with his 3 daughters and jogging.
